Barentz acquires Noack Group: consolidation and development in Central-East Europe
Barentz International, one of the leading European distribution groups for raw materials and ingredients dedicated to the industry in the food, nutraceutical, pharmaceutical and feed sectors, expands its activities in the Central-Eastern Europe region.
The company proudly announces the acquisition of a majority stake in the Noack Group, a company specialized in the distribution of ingredients for animal nutrition and the livestock industry. In addition, Noack supplies the food and veterinary industry with a wide range of agri-food products and veterinary diagnostic test systems.
The Noack Group is headquartered in Vienna and has an extensive presence in Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia and Slovenia. In neighboring countries, such as North Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Moldova, Noack cooperates with local partners. The Group achieved an annual turnover of € 60 million in 2020.
